I did talk to the Collection Manager some time ago about a program but the rules are on UW, weekdays, 9-5. If anyone can make this time I wold strongly recommend it and solicit your opinion as to a future group activity. http://www.washington.edu/burkemuseum/collections/ichthyology/programs.php Not that I know anybody, but I would be happy to help if I can. -Paul On Fri, 16 Oct 2009, Kathy Olson wrote: > > Hi all, > > Well Markus' Kindergarten class studies gold fish and platys last week. > They came up with great pictures on the differences...ie their tails, > body/fin shape etc. > > They also came up with a list of questions... > > ...including what do they do like inside, and what are their skeletons > like? > > Amazing enough, the teacher said if I wanted to dissect a fish in class I > could and show the kids (I think I would pre dissect it and show the > organs there).
