Uaru amphiacanthoides is a really neat cichlid, similar to Discus in many ways
and prone to most of the same disorders. They are considered kind of tricky to
keep but some people have had good luck with them, and they are a great thing
to spawn if you can pull that off. I've never had them breed personally, but
they are said to breed pretty much like Discus, and they prefer warm water (82
degrees or so).

Has anyone had any experience keeping Uaru? I spotted a group at The
Fish Store the other day and they've peaked my interest.
Might be something interesting to add to the 250 that is in the works.
