A 250 sounds about right for this fish. Two people I know that kept them in NJ
fed them huge amounts of vegetable foods and kept a pair in an otherwise mostly
bare 150. Getting them to breed is hard, though it's been done - I think they
like discus-like conditions, warm, acid water, tons of room and lots of green
food. I believe they're breedable at about a foot long. Look on the web, there
should be info.

How about 100,000 endlers livebearers in a 250? It'd be quite the site. Maybe a
wolf fish to keep the population under control (or, some small cichlids?) You'd
probably never have to change water just top it off :-)
