I love them, but it's time for them to move on. Or, time for me to buy a second large aquarium. Because, as many of you suspected, there is nothing green they will not eat, and I decided I want plants again. I have let them taste-test a load of common plants, and even the tough ones like anubias get nibbled down to stumps in short order. I haven't tried crinum yet, but even if they won't eat it, I don't want a tank with just one kind of plant. There are 3 adult plain silver dollars and two smaller spotted silver dollars in the school. All are healthy, and they are not skittish at all. They keep to a school instead of many other schooling fish that get comfortable with their home and stop hanging out together. I believe the genders are mixed as some have more red in the anal fin than others. They've never tried to make little silver dollars though. I will happily give them away to anyone in the club who will give them a good home. If you have trade bait I would be interested in community tank fish or easy plants but it's not a requirement. I just want them to have a happy home... somewhere else. :) Thanks, Matt in Kirkland _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
