I've had several acrylic tanks in the past and currently have an acrylic 50 gallon which I rehabbed; that one only had minor scratches which buffed out by hand with some brown buffing compound in a Tupperware cup that Denny's pet world gave me; This new tank has some pretty good scratches plus the guy before me has done a bunch of sanding on the entire front so there is a ton of scratches (although mostly minor) across the front; I've ordered the kit from sisweb.com with the micromesh pads and buffing compound; I agree that normally you can't see them once filled with water but several of these are deep enough you can catch them with your fingernail plus with all the sanding he did it needs a good buffing; Thanks for your help, Jeff. _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
