Erik, have you been happy with the 6000K/6500K bulbs you are using? If I do
get a new fixture, I have the opportunity to choose any bulbs I like. The
options that I see people implementing are--
1. All 6700K, which is all I have ever used.
2. 6700K and 10,000K (adds blue tint)
3. 6700k and "pink" plant bulbs (adds red tint)
4. 10000K and pink
It seems like they are all about the same as far as growth goes, it's just
the look that changes.
Anyone use a combo and like it?
Roy, you're right, it's 2 circuits in the Catalina fixture. Running all the
lights only for a mid-day shot is an interesting idea that I had not thought
of.
I'm really starting over on plants, after a couple of years of keeping
plant-munching fish... Got a lot of reading to do! I've forgotten what
little I already knew about ferts for example.
