First off welcome to the club! There are no embarrassing questions that we
haven't asked at sometime in the past, so ask away; I agree with Roy and
Cory, water changes are your answer to the ammonia problem; As far as the
ick goes I can't address that in that I've been incredibly lucky and never
had to fight it; My smallest tank has been a 100g and I now have a 260g and
I am a firm believer in bigger is better! More water means less drastic
changes, more buffer! Look forward to meeting you at the meeting next
