Re: [GSAS-Member] Has anyone had trouble with CO2 poisoning?

Ok, thanks everyone for the input; I just tested the water and my amonia is
0.00 ppm; I don't have a co2 water tester but I inject my co2 with an
automatic system from Foster and Smith; when activated it flows at about 1-2
bubbles per second; I have an American Marine ph monitor which turns on/off
the co2 injection system to maintain a ph of 6.5; I just checked it and the
ph is right at 6.47 and the co2 is shut off at the moment; I worry about my
wet/dry setup, it seems counter productive to inject co2 and then run the
water through a wet/dry which will free co2; my injection spout is seven
feet away from the tank overflow to the wet/dry though so I figured I'd get
good mixing of the co2 before it spills over;

I think I've figured it out; I built a light enclosure for my AH Supply 96
watt bright kits (I have six 96w bulbs running) I painted the enclosure with
black oil based paint about two weeks ago, but the lights didn't get turned
on till last Sunday and at that time there was no enclosure behind the tank
so we had tons of ventilation; now that the back of the tank room is
enclosed I think I might be getting some baking of the paint by the heat
coming off the lights; I would have thought the paint would have cured by
now but could be wrong. Thanks for all your advice and input you guys are a
great bunch. Hence why I talk up the club to everyone I meet.
