Hi Matt, I had a problem with Green Spot Algae (GSA) and got rid of it by increasing my dosing of phosphate (KH2PO4). First I cleaned my glass and removed as much of the GSA as possible. Then I started gradually (don't overdo phosphates or you will have Algae City!) increasing my dosage using weekly increments. Every week I would re-clean my glass and I found as I increased my phosphate dosage the amount of GSA decreased. I am currently dosing about 1/32 tsp per 10 gallons 3X week and it is not coming back. BTW, I just started trying a similar procedure for Green Dust Algae (GSA) by increasing my dosage of nitrogen (KNO3). Here is where I got the information: http://www.aquaticplantcentral.com/forumapc/algae/62516-method-controlled-im balances-gda.html Roy _______________________________________________ GSAS-Member mailing list GSAS-Member@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/gsas-member
