Re: [GSAS-Member] Anyone use a UV sterilizer?

The only ways to get rid of green spot algae that I know of, is manual removal
by scrubbing, or Nerite snails. These snails are perfect because they can't
reproduce in fresh water. And love to eat green spot algae. You need a small
herd of them to keep up with the green spot algae though. I've personally
tested it in my store, and 1 nerite snail, took about 2 weeks to get on top of
a 10 gallon hex tank. I have since ordered a bunch more and have spread them
out through the store tanks to start devouring that algae. As it's a pain to
get rid of.
