Shango,
I had two of these for a little while and just took the last one down. I
had two filters, two power heads, and a single 3/4 pipe down the back to
connect. The pumps would "fight" for flow when the sponges start to fill
and the power heads had a tendency not to restart. The idle power head
becomes the past of least resistance and water + filth flows backwards etc.
I would have a dedicated sponge for every power head (or multiple sponges
per power head).
A fun project!
This set-up is so cool. Not today, but after I move I am definitely going
to set one of these up.

Thanks Cory!
