To date, four people have stepped forward and offered to get involved in testing out the Judging Criteria via the "mock Contest" web-site that I have set up. I know of one more individual who has expressed interest in doing so but he is currently on vacation. Because I was the one who selected the images and set up the site, I have a feeling that to be objective I really shouldn't partake in the process as my opinions are probably going to be biased. That still leaves over 20 people on this list who could volunteer to test out these Criteria. It doesn't take long, it isn't difficult, you are just being asked to give your opinions in a structured manner. As I have discussed with one of the test Judges privately, if this contest is going to work well, we really do need to have these Judging Guidelines debugged prior to moving forward. Feedback is important. You do not need prior experience as a Judge of anything to participate in this process, you just want to see this thing work as best it can. Individual "test judges" will only be identified by number when I collate the results and post them publicly, so you don't have to worry about being singled out for your particular input. When I invited people to get involved in this discussion, I was hoping that you would do just that - get involved. It gets really discouraging to see the number of lurkers remain at such a high level. Don't be shy - get involved. And if you really aren't interested in any of this, why are you here?
