On the subject of making names/addresses/e-mail public or not.... I think that if you check back to when this all started, you will find that one of the big things about this event was to see if there were any similarities or differences in the way aquarists in different parts of the world approached aquascaping. To do that, I think that we HAVE to identify the CITY, STATE/PROVINCE and COUNTRY that an entry is from (and I guess that if it's a small town, leave it to the viewer to check an atlas). (Also note that I don't want street addresses published.) Publishing e-mail addresses causes me pause however - a lot of people won't want their e-mail addresses published either for fear of spam in their in-boxes or unrelenting questions from strangers. Giving people the option is probably the best route here. Should anyone be shy enough to request that their name not be associated with their entry (at least publicly), maybe we could even accomodate that (i.e. "Name withheld by request") - but if their entry "places" and receives a prize, I think that they HAVE to let us publish their name. Anyone disagree? How do other contests handle this? And should this be stated in the rules?
