Revisions needed
Erik,
Here is a detailed list of changes required to various sections of the web
site for the inclusion of a Photo Release Form:

- General Entrance Guidelines
ADD, after item #12, (An Entrance Fee of ...)
13. All images submitted to either the Showcase or the Contest portions of
the event must be accompanied by a signed Photo Release Form [add
hyperlink]. This should be mailed together with the entrance fee.
RENUMBER the remaining items in the list.
REVISE old item # 15, (new item #16):
16. Regardless of how the images are submitted, all entrance fees and photo
release forms should be mailed to the above address.
The old item #19 is not a separate item, it should be part of old item #19
(but now renumbered as #20):
20. Further information concerning the event can be found on the World Wide
Web at:

- Photo Guidelines
ADD, after item#10:
11. All images submitted to either the Showcase or the Contest portions of
the event must be accompanied by a signed Photo Release Form [add

AGA International Aquascaping Showcase & Contest [center this]
Instructions: All images submitted to the AGA International Aquascaping
Showcase & Contest must be accompanied by a signed copy of this Release
Form. It must be signed by the person submitting the images and by
the person who actually took the photographs.
The copyright of all images remains with the owner of the copyright. By
submitting images to the AGA International Aquascaping Showcase & Contest,
the entrant and/or the copyright owner gives the Aquatic Gardeners
Association the right to publish and/or display those images in any or all
of the following venues:
* the AGA International Aquascaping Showcase & Contest web site;
* the Aquatic Gardeners Association web site;
* CD-ROM;
* The Aquatic Gardener, the Journal of the Aquatic Gardeners
Association;
* various hobby related magazines.
The purpose(s) of all such publication of images shall be:
* to illustrate and/or promote the aquascaping of aquariums;
* to promote the AGA International Aquascaping Showcase & Contest;
* to promote the Aquatic Gardeners Association.
In all cases of publication of images submitted to the AGA International
Aquascaping Showcase & Contest, the following Copyright Notice shall be
given:
"© 2000 [name of copyright owner]" [center this]
No other payment shall be made by the Aquatic Gardeners Association nor
requested by the entrant and/or the copyright owner for the use of images
submitted to the AGA International Aquascaping Showcase & Contest.
Publication of any images submitted to the AGA International Aquascaping
Showcase & Contest by the Aquatic Gardeners Association in no way infringes
upon or prevents any subsequent use of those images by the entrant and/or
the copyright owner.
By signing and submitting this form, you agree with the above terms of use.

Revise text following the "Sample Entries" section:
You should now be ready to complete your entry. As has been noted earlier,
this may be done in a number of ways and we have endeavoured to make this
process as simple as possible. The Entry Form and the Photo Release Form are
available in a format which you may print out on your own system at home and
submit through the post office. You may also enter online, by registering to
use our Electronic Entry Form.
Entries may be submitted in a variety of ways:
*Digital images or scanned files of your pictures may be submitted
electronically, as e-mail attachments, or through the mail, on disk.
*Photographic Prints and Slides that you wish the event organizers to
scan
for you must be submitted via the mail.
The Entry Fee and the Photo Release Form must be submitted through the mail.

REVISE - In the Copyright Notice Section, replace existing text with the
following:

[Note: According to what I have found out regarding Copyright laws, it is
important that we actually use the "©" symbol, rather than the word
"copyright" as some countries might not recognize the latter as a valid
notice.]

Currently, the Entry Form has a place on the main menu bar - should the
Photo Release form be here as well, or as a sub-item of the Entry Form?????
