I agree that combining the small classes is not only OK, but actually a good
idea.  The fact that the garden category is so strong gives good
justification for combining the smaller ones.

BUT, here's something you could do that would help spread the wealth, and
sooth any hurt feelings over combining the categories.  You could decided to
give small "honorable mention" prizes to a couple more placings.  Don't give
them ribbons, but give them a goodie.  We don't have to pay anything but
shipping on those, and if the prizes were carefully selected, the shipping
could be minimal.

Also, in terms of the cost over-run, while $150 would be nicer than $400,
AGA committed to this project, and you guys have done an awesome job.  I
give you my word that I will support the expense in committee, and I think I
speak for Erik as well.  I don't forsee any problems even in a worst case
scenario.
