non-profit status

I make a motion to make AGA non-profit status. 
I move to allocate up to $1000 to hire a lawyer, do the paperwork and make
it happen. If we know or can find an AGA member to do it for free, then the
allocated money does not have to be spent. 

Any seconds?
Then we should have discussion, followed by a vote.

This motion is contingent of someone volunteering to choose a lawyer and
oversee the process to its completion.

I want us to have tax status so we can do a number of things, not just sell
plants.

Regarding plant sales....I don't think we have anything to loose.
