I'd only do that if you can handle MC or VISA.  otherwise, it might be best
to have the form there for download, but require them to send it, along
with a check to you.

If you want the AGA logo, let me know... I have it on disk.  Otherwise, we
could use one of the tank photos that they use for the front of TAG.  They
look good even in B&W.

It's more often than not the case for banquets and anything else where an
exact head count is necessary.  For the speaker programs though, you might
want to let people register that day.  But I don't think there will be THAT
much walk-in traffic anyway, so if you'd really prefer the whole thing as
pre-reg. only, go for it.

My feeling is that 5 plus our business meeting will be about all we can
manage, unless we do one of them on Friday night.  If we don't have a talk
on Friday night, we should think of some other "get acquainted" activity.
Maybe that would be a good time for a tour of the Aquarium?  We could even
plan it so that we asked people to arrange their own dinner that night, but
did a tour of the Aquarium, and served cheese and crackers with a cash bar
available.

We also need some kind of program for the banquet.  In your "standard"
hobby convention, this would be a slide show given by the "MC" during
coffee and dessert.  At the same time, he thanks everyone for coming, etc.
Often you save your "star" speaker for this slot.

I don't know.  Neil seems to be anti-auction, though I'm still not sure the
income wouldn't be a good idea as seed money for next time.  The silent
auction could work, but we'll have to schedule that in too.  You are coming
at this from a fresh perspective, not being involved with the hobby much
before this.  What do you think?  Did you have anything in mind?
