Yes, I agree with Paul and Erik. In addition to ACA there are a number of other organizations where I have a vote, as Erik described, for the Board of Directors. If I don't vote I don't get counted. At least there is some consultative process that goes on with the members. However, that is the only thing that is voted upon by the entire membership (except perhaps changing the By-Laws). If we do something like make Board terms 6 years and we elect 1/3 of the Board every two years I don't think that would be too onerous to count ballots.
