Re: Weekly bludgeoning: Voting issues



For my money I think we should  follow the ACA type model, and let the
membership vote by:
1) Including in one issue of TAG the slate of officers and Board members,
and allow for any nominations from the membership. They do this by sending a
form in by mail to the person ion charge of elections (new committee ????)
2) Once the slates are completed, and they can have notes that the folks are
proposed by the Elections Committee or by nomination from the membership,
then a ballot is put into the next TAG and people vote by returning the
ballot, by snail mail.
3) Results are announced in next TAG.
That's it for now -- from cold and rainy Boston, but where my sea horses
have just had babies -- and they are hanging on to the macro algaes in the
tank.
