Just so you all know that I am, in fact, still on board, a comment.
When I was in the energy biz this was what the utilities call the "marginal
kilowatt" argument.
Mrs. Whosedoit decides to add a 75 watt lite bulb, and to meet the extra
demand the utility has to build a $30mm power plant. No way around it that I
know of.
