Thats why, if he had trouble organizing that, we'd want to know that he had a LOT of organizational help before committing to a convention. Also, just so that it's clear to everyone, I don't any of us should or would hold it against someone whose organizational skills were not up to handling a convention. A person can have a OT of wonderful skills and attributes, (not to mention being a very nice person) and still not have the skill set to run a convention.
