I am going to do something that I don't often do just
for arguments sake. OK, let's give Gomberg the benefit
of the doubt and say that his email did not properly
express his thoughts.

Regardless, as we learned rather painfully this year,
it is not about anything other than the desire and
leadership of a strong host club. The AGA can help
with everything but those three critical pieces.

I don't know the players in the SF Club anymore. Are
Tom and Dave considered leaders? Could we depend on
either of them to do what we know it takes in terms 
of committment? 

I am open to giving them a chance. I think we all need
to be since there are no other options for 2005.
However, I am not impressed, nor am I optomistic at
this point.
