Re: [AGA-mcm] workloads? workers?
I had already accepted you (Phil) as the one judge who ASKED to judge... I
wasn't going to add a second one.
Ironically, I wasn't asking. You had asked if we knew of folks who would be
willing/able to judge and I put forward my name. :( Had I known it would
have caused all this trouble I wouldn't have.
Unfortunately, he went off in a snit over that, thinking I had some kind of
personal thing against him.
My hope was that in bringing in new folks such as yourself to help take
things over, it would ultimately make the AGA more "in touch".
I'm trying! :)
I'm sure that the folks involved in the GWAPA convention feel this way
especially. I am sure that Jay thinks we're complete snobs for how we've
treated him over the photo gallery.
Well, that's a whole other issue. There have been similar issues with Jay
and competing forums.
Something that now *does* occur to me is that I would like to retire from
the aquascaping contest. Not exactly a beginner job, but I'd be willing to
help render assistance to a new coordinator. But it's been five years, and
I'm pretty tired of the abuse from the folks I'm out-of-touch with.
What would this require?
Best,
Phil
