Not that I think one person can do groundwork for a whole
convention, but
this is interesting nonetheless...

Ugh! If there is *ANYTHING* I can do to help make a 2005
convention happen,
let me know! How bout AGAIndy! I could get
hotel/convention info in about 48
hours, I know the hospitality industry pretty well here.
My father is the
director of the Indianapolis International Airport, and
can also help pull
some strings. I wish I would have known this sooner, you
would have had a
bid in your hands two months ago.
Thanks for putting up the Info, hopefully it flushes a
few more Indiana
people out of the woodwork. I know there are a few out
there, only met one
so far though. The stack of AGA brochures on the register
gets lower every
week, so hopefully that makes a difference as well. :)
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. :) We're in
spring startup
mode, 35 ponds down, about 220 left!

Hi Jonathan,
I put a summary of your doc in the "AGA Live" section.
Maybe you could
post a PDF of that document on your website too?
Unfortunately, looks like no AGA Convention this year.
No local club was
able to come together with a bid in time, and the folks
in the AGA board
are plumb "tired out" from making last year's work
last-minute. On the
bright side, there seems to be good effort for 2006
starting.
