I offer the following revisions: AGA: Annual ConventionIt is with resigned sadness that we announce there will be no convention for 2005. While several local clubs expressed interest in hosting a convention, only one actively pursued a proposal. Unfortunately, it could not be completed in time for a November 2005 convention. However, we are seeking 2006 proposals now! [Note for prospective clubs: proposals may be made for convention dates anytime in the year, but we do have a deadline of 9 months prior to the proposed date for the final proposal, and 12 months before the proposed date for a draft proposal. Please contact Scott Hieber with any questions.]
***************************************************** Requirements and Guidelines doc 1st paragraph: Requirements...It is recommended that a draft proposal, including at least the names of the committee heads, anticipated location and date, and possible speakers, be submitted 12 months before the proposed Convention start date.

Do we toss out the text I suggested or change the numbersin it or what?Perhaps everyone should "vote" a number of months for a "final proposal" deadline (6, 9, 12, 14, whatever) and maybe we can just average them and use the average. We ought to give some deadline ought to give the same deadline to everyone, no? sh _______________________________________________ AGA-mcm mailing list AGA-mcm@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-mcm
