I think a major portion of the draw of Christel's books are the fabulous 
pictures.  I've seen the german copy of Echinodorus and it's got pictures 
galore.  Not having read it in a few years I can't say for sure, but I have 
a feeling that the Echinodorus section in Aquarium Plants is sufficient for 
all but the hardcore Echinodorus afficianado.  We're really have to do it 
with full color photos to get maximum interest from it.
