Phil can prove/disprove the theory. Phil's experiment, if I
may suggest should involve light intensity as one of the
variables. Also a variety of red plants. Not all plants are
red for the same reason.
I'll likely be running the experiment on a 20g high alternating between 35
and 55w PC Fluorescent 5300K, 10,000K, and Blue bulbs. If anyone wants to
donate any other K rating bulbs or 50/50s to the cause I'll be happy to take
them as long as they're brand new.
I'm planning on growing:
R. macrandra
R. indica
L. repens
L. arcuata
A. reineckii
Maybe even a stem or two of A. gracillia and Nesea spp.
