Re: [AGA-Member] pH/CO2 probe

At the risk of sounding like a complete doof, I've been running my Milwaukee SMS122 probe completely submerged.
In my case, I used an old heater-tube holder with suction cups on the back to hold the yellow probe casing in place and protect it somewhat within the tank. Should this one NOT be completely submerged??

I use "egg crate" for tank lids, it's that plastic grid made for fluorescent
ceiling fixtures, it's about 3/8" thick with about a 1/2" X 1/2" grid, the
Milwaukee probes fit nicely in them, the collar stops them from falling all
the way through, which is good since you shouldn't submerse them beyond the
bottom of the collar anyway. Actually, I would recommend egg crate to anyone
who wants a good lid, it's open which is a plus for venting off heat and
doesn't reduce the available light to any significant degree, I have glass
lids that are worse in that respect, and you can create cut outs for heaters
or whatever simly by snipping out pieces of grid with diagnal cutters.

Merry Christmas all !
