If I'm going to be posting the news, (and I said I would unless someone else
is champing at the bit) I don't want it to be on a set schedule.  I'll want
to just release news as it happens.  At this point in my life, I deal with
things much more efficiently if I can just get it done, off my desk and off
my mind.  I don't want to have to gather tidbits up and then try to remember
what they were for a once a month or even once a week compilation.  There
just isn't _that_ much news.  It may be that there are two things that need
to be announced in one week, and then not anything else for 2 months.  I
think that's fine.

As far as the "chat" list is concerned, I'd let that develop a life of its
own as long as everyone "plays nice".  It will be a great place for members
to actually develop a sense of community, and could even develop into that
"trading post" idea that we've tossed around from time to time.  Again, if
I'm going to be monitoring it, that would be my plan.
