It is a good idea to have a consensus on this issue. I was not suggesting that 
I or any one else talk to Dave until the "SC" decides. What I hear us saying is 
that it should be a SC decision (without asking for MC input). Hopefully 
Dorothy is on-line and we will hear soon from her on this important proposal to 
approach Dave Gomberg about using PAM as "THE" publication for AGA news. If the 
SC decides, I will wait for further instructions before I say anything to Dave.

If we decide to make this change, I think Dorothy is the best person to tell 
Mary. Last week I emailed  Dorothy that she is the only person that could be a 
useful line of communication between AGA and Mary.

I also hear lots of support for hiring a lawyer. I make a MOTION that David ask 
his friend to get us incorporated and that we budget $1K for this venture.

I ***DEFINITELY AND WITHOUT QUESTION*** think this is something that needs
to be decided at the SC level, NOT by the MC.  I also think everyone has to
think long and hard about who would tell Mary, and how she would be told.  I
can tell you right now that it should _not_ be me or David... we're the ones
who need to live with her.

As far as the attorney thing is concerned, I will say again what I've said
before.  IMO, we should just plain hire someone, pay the money and get the
job done right,  once and for all.
