Re: Re: Which issue? (fwd)

I second Neil's motion that I hire a lawyer to incorporate us for NTE
$1,000.
I also think that we can, perhaps, go gently into the night of PAM/TAG etc..
We can position it that we are merging the two publications, and perhaps
keep the PAM name with the logo of "The official publication of the AGA" or
the like. Dave is going to have to work with someone from AGA who is
designated to pull our stuff together and protect our interests, and perhaps
we could offer that to Mary-- I know you will all say that she would never
accept the position, and you are probably correct. Whatever we do, we have
to make it a policy decision on the part of the SC, not a personal decision
to axe Mary. I think we can pull that off.

that I or any one else talk to Dave until the "SC" decides. What I hear us
saying is that it should be a SC decision (without asking for MC input).
Hopefully Dorothy is on-line and we will hear soon from her on this
important proposal to approach Dave Gomberg about using PAM as "THE"
publication for AGA news. If the SC decides, I will wait for further
instructions before I say anything to Dave.

could be a useful line of communication between AGA and Mary.
