Re: Next Convention

Hi Y'all --
KUDOS to Charlene and her minions for sure. I agree with Neil that this year
was infinitely better than last, and that next year will be even better.
We need to follow through on the execution of our incorporation plan. By
this I mean that we now have the SC is the Board of Directors -- we should
start to refer to it as "the Board". The MC is now essentially the Board
plus other committee heads.
We need to really have committees and committee heads, and handle things
through the committees.
I think that Charlene should be the head of the Convention Committee --
which means she picks someone, once the site is decided upon, to head up the
convention for next year.
We also need a Publications Committee -- This committee would be in charge
of TAG, and the chairman of the committee would have to either be the Editor
or pick an Editor.
That's all I can think for now. I have a 10 AM meeting in New York tomorrow,
and we are trying to figure out what the hell to do, and then I have to go
to St. Louis Thursday to put on a show for the MO Aq. Soc -- Gary Lange
should be relaxing, right?
