I appreciate you getting this info to me so quickly.
This is a great start for our club to get a feel for
the scope of this committment. I think we can do this
as do the board members I have spoken to. After I have
a concensus to officially move forward I am going to
get in touch with you and Scott. We would like to move
quickly either way so this will happen within the
week.

The ACA splits tboth risk and reward for the local
club. I can't remember the numbers off the top of my
head but I will get them. As you may be aware the TCA
has been seriuosly considering hosting another ACA so
I am already somewhat prepared for what needs to be
done and versed on the advantages and the challenges
that the DFW area will present to hosting a national
caliber aquarium related convention.

Whether our club is successful in getting the bid or
not I am interested in helping out in this year's
convention. However, I will say that we have a pretty
solid core group of folks and I am confident the TCA
people will give me some backup on ideas , contacts
and manpower if we need it. I think our strength is in
our members and organization skills.
