Some thought they wer donating to the contest?  Hell, some
thought they were donating to APD!

This was the first year running an independent convention.
A lot more could have gone wrong.  Next year we'll nail the
contest prizes down up front.

I honestly don't think Bailin was favoring the convention.
He probably did more work for the contest, if you know what
I mean. And he's one of the folks that didn't distinguish
between AGA Contest and Convention. I don't think he
thought any of it through that far.

I think Luis and Val, Larry, and a number of others brought
in more donations.
