Gassers passing was discussed some on the net. I believe on the Crypt list.
i cant remember how I learned, but think it was in early 2003... some 4-5
months afterwards. At the time it didnt occur to me that a writeup in TAG
would have been appropriate. I believe that an obit was prepared by Brad
McClane for publication in FAMA, but I have not seen it in print.

For this discussion, i agree with what everyone else says. I dont want to
see an obit section in TAG and dont see the need to mention the untimely
passing of a non-member. Certainly not if we dont do this for our own. If
we had a way to find out that our members have died, I would be supportive
of a once per year memorial page where we list these members. However, i
suspect that it will not be easy nor practical to get such a list together
at this time. Of course, we would have to let the membership know that the
organization has an interest, or it will not be passed on. I suppose I am
guilty of not passing info on myself.
I didnt know about Al Castrow. I would have liked to have known, member or
not. Did you all know that Peter Lewis died? i think it was last year.
