I agree, but I'm confused by the terminology.

I think that the locals will want to select their people for the
different jobs. Or, as in Larry's case, volunteer them without
notifying them. :-0 Did you mean something else?

AGA committee person as a resource, to help them do the job.
Yes, this is very good, however the details work out. At the Dallas
convention, it seems we talked about having last year's convention
committee folks help this year's convention committee folks each time.
Sort of a passing of the torch. In fact, we could have put that in the
convention guidelines. :-(
2) I move that if we adopt motion #1 above, that Scott Hieber be the
chairman of the newly created Convention Committee.
