hi y'all, another cost factor and one that can affect quality is the type of paper. TAG Vol 14 3-4 (color insert), all subsequent TAGs and even PAM all seem to have used slightly different paper. I think I prefer the TAGs to PAM, but I am reluctant to make a more refined conclusion because I am red green colorblind. It can be helpful to TAG staff if the printers can describe their coated paper, and then Eric and Karen can compare it to the ones used for those issues. I believe that the more glossy paper is more expensive, but can retain better details. The precision of the printer's registration is another important factor, but hard to see in a spreadsheet.
