Re: GWAPA Proposal -- AGA2K4 -- 1-4-2004 (fwd)

Karen, I agree 100%. I felt similarly when James wanted to print the
contest guidelines as part of TAG. These things are temporal. I would
far prefer to see two pages of beautiful tanks or a useful article than an
ad.

The ACA gives a 1-page (not spread or center) convention ad free of charge
to the host club -- it's usually run in the April and June issues (for a
July convention). This year the club has gotten back to me early, so I'll
be running it for the February issue as well.

I think it's totally reasonable putting in a filler-space box for February
if timing is right, a 1/2-or-so page in May, and a full pager in August
(or insert if they have a brochure designed).

The brochure or flyer COULD be stuffed in the same envelope, and perhaps
this would alleviate the "missed it because it's not separate" issue you
brought up as well?

I don't know how helpful the separate mailing is, so I won't comment one
way or another on that issue.
