If GWAPA has to trade off between room service fees (use of ballroom, etc.) and roomnight rates for attendees, would you prefer that they tend toward lower room rates or a lower ballroom fee? This is irrespective of whether they can negotiate a sliding scale for any costs based on total roomnights rented. Personally, I think the lower roomnight rate would be to our advantage because it will promote attendance while a lower Ballroom fee will not. While a lower roomnight rate does not translate directly as money in AGA's pocket, with a good turnout, the ballroom fee will be covered *and* more folks will have the benefit of attending the convention.
