I dn't think freedom of speech enters into it since AGA is not a government agency. We can restrict speech all we want so long as we don't violate civil rights. We do it TAG all the time -- restrict speech, that is. But the choice is either control and be comfortable with it or give it free reign, as is done on APD (listmom does not censor). Seems to me control is simply no practical. IN the early days, it ight be, but if the forums were busy enough to be worth continuing, the traffic would be high, too high to preview and censor -- supposing we had people to do it. I don't ever see any way around the risk we're talking about -- I don't see any way AGA would ever do forums. I'm not making a recommendation; just drawing a conclusion. sh --- Karen Randall <krandall@rdrcpa.biz> wrote: > The trouble is, that we have time to read things slowly > and carefully before > printing them in TAG.
