The bottom line for me, in terms of who should or shouldn't be on the
Advisory list, is that we must feel comfortable that they will NOT abuse the
"inside information" they are privy to on the list. We all need to feel
that we can speak freely. I think the number of conversations that have
gone off-list recently is an indication that we currently DON'T feel that we
can.

There's another way of looking at this, which is that if we make an attempt to USE the list, then some of the conversations might be kept on a somewhat more formal level, more becoming to an actual board, rather than the free-for-all catfests that tend to occur off-list (I am as guilty as others here).

I wanted the list to be there and to have anyone on that list be partaking in the running of the AGA. I think Rick has to go, I think Ghazanfar should be asked, Sean should go, and Jay should probably be asked whether he is interested on doing anything beyond the convention photographs & his staying or going based on this.

But before that, we should get the financials finalized for AGA2K4. Has anyone asked them? I will be happy to.
