I would like to obtain your banner and with permission place on the front
page of the BarrReport web site.
I'm wearing 3 hats here in this email. One as a business,one as a hobbyist,
and one as a SFBAAPS member/AGA member. I plan to have every club's banner
up there promoting the local and
national clubs on the front page when folks go to the site. I have
considered adding other things to the front page but this best suits my
mission and adds local value beyond the web. Additionally, I have always
been supportive of local club involvement. I envisions a front page to the
site with all the local clubs from all over the world and to show how the
hobby has grown and where new folks can get involved locally or nationally,
or internationally. After April 1st, we will have in place a discount for
any active member for
each club as well which will add value to being a member to the local
clubs.
Gift memberships are also possible for those wanting to treat their spouse
or friends or club members. My target audiences are those more serious and
experienced and overseas as
well.
I'd like to do a banner exchange with the AGA and any club for this for the
discount. I have always supported joining local clubs when possible(I'm a
charter
member of one and have supported the AGA for many years) and anyone I run
into on the web that's close to a club will be nagged into going to a club
meeting or else suffer a voodoo rash in many sensitive regions. I support
local club and national club formation in areas where there are none,
recently in Argentina there are several folks forming one after I nagged
them. These smaller clubs eventually wander to the national clubs and get
involved there. SFBAAPS has grown recently and has many new green thumbs.
We now have 17-18 victims for the AGA conference. More will surely be roped
in.
I feel my business goal in much more in tune with my personal goal by NOT
allowing vendor advertising on my site but rather _clubs_ that promote the
hobby. That I can support heart and soul.
That's where it all starts: Healthy clubs= healthy hobby.
