NEC has 20 lots per vendor AND 2 lots per species/variety. I guess it depends on how much stuff we're likely to get, and how long we want the auction to go. Since I haven't stayed to the end of one of the live auctions (I will be this year) I don't know, but it seems I've heard rumors of lots of stuff needing to be practically given away at the end. The trouble is, and you never know ahead of time, if one person brought 20 bags of Amano shrimp it might be OK. But if TEN people brought even 5 bags it would really overload the auction. That's where the rule came from. Also, at least at NEC, people CAN bring more lots, but everything above the first two are donations. If you can't tell, I kind of like NEC rules because they have it down to a science after all these years ;-) Karen _______________________________________________ AGA-sc mailing list AGA-sc@thekrib.com http://lists.thekrib.com/mailman/listinfo/aga-sc
