Right. What Kathy and Karen said. Let us not do pay-as-you-go. That added a bit of time in 2004. Maybe it was spread amonst the runners, but it still added time, involved the runners handling ccash, and probably made some folks not buy things because they were worried about their cash level. That was only done because it was an emergency in 2004. Our system is set up so that when there is a "run", we can open up more cashiers on other computers to speed up the checkout. It shouldn't be a problem.
