Okay. But I will need someone to explain to me exactly how this is going to 
work. Not right now, but before we start -- maybe before we get to SF.

Otoh you have lots of cash transactions throughout the day; otoh you have a 
long line at the end, no?


I didn't expect runners to collect cash although I've heard it being done that 
way.

In 2003 and 2004, folks could pay on win or run a tab. So it was a mix of both.

I think having them pay as they go would get MIGHTY confusing.  If they are 
only buying a couple of things, they can always check out as soon as they 
have purchased those items.  They don't have to wait until the end.  Pay as 
you go also means having to deal with large amounts of cash... and everyone 
needs to be forewarned that they need to bring cash.

I saw one big auction handled this way, and it was a nightmare.  Runners 
didn't know how much cash they needed to collect from bidders, so just took 
whatever was handed to them.  Heaven help the person if they needed change.
