What the hack!!!! remove the CAE!! they are very territorial and tand to suck on other fish once they tried what scale taste like.... (just like if you got a cookie, you won't go back for spainage) if you are really serious about fish spawn and wish to have some extra $ out of it, preparing a specie tank is very important. However, if that's not the case, just let the parents do what they want... even eat the eggs. Feel proud of yourself and your fish. It's very sad that some captive fish (like some rams, etc. you know.) are losing it's ability to rare fries. I wonder if after a few times of spawning, will the pair get "bored" and decide to take care the eggs and fries... ;> Ceal (and yes, I always collect big pickle jars.... in case of having zillion of eggs and I need money... :-P) Sent: Wednesday, January 05, 2000 2:30 PM Subject: RE: Why did they kill the eggs!! :-( > Thanks for the info..
