How large are your aggies.  If they're at least one inch standard
length, not counting the caudal fin, sexing aggies is easy.   Females
will have black markings on pelvic fins and males won't.   Males develop
the spade tail on the caudal fin, females won't.   Can't go on color as
I've got aggie males as yellow as females.   I'm assuming by your
comment Y'all that you're a southern gent.   There are alot of good
places to get apistos and fortunately for you it's still warm down south
and can still ship fish.   Snowing like crazy here the last few days in
Northern New York state up near the Canadian border so shipping here
waits until May.   Hope you're able to find your fish a mate.
