Getting Jewels to spawn??

My jewels spawned about 2 weeks ago but then ate the eggs.. I have been
waiting for them to try again but they both seem to be not interested. They
never get that bright red color anymore so I am beginning to believe it
might be water condition.
My water is at 79'F, ph of 7.2 ammonia=0 nitrite=0 nitrate 20ppm and dGH=8
