Hi all, After a month or so of frequent chasing, displaying, body bending etc.. my female cacatuoides has laid a dozen or so eggs in a half coconut shell. This is the first clutch she´s laid but it worries me that the colour of the eggs is white. I heard that this colour probably means the eggs had not been fertilised by the male, who incidently always seemed more interested in chasing other fish rather that perform hubby´s duties. I think she started laying eggs yesterday afternoon, i.e. 20 hours ago. Does anybody know what´s the average number of eggs and when should I expect to see her strolling with the fry (assuming the egges were in fact viable) Thanks Carlos > -----Original Message----- > From: owner-apisto@admin.listbox.com > [mailto:owner-apisto@admin.listbox.com]On Behalf Of Alysoun McLaughlin > Sent: Thursday, January 27, 2000 6:27 PM > To: apisto@listbox.com > Cc: Raf.Mols@med.kuleuven.ac.be > Subject: Re: aquatic-plants mailing list > > > > Date: Thu, 27 Jan 2000 17:04:44 +0100 > > From: "Raf Mols" <Raf.Mols@med.kuleuven.ac.be> > > Subject: aquatic-plants mailing list > > > > Hi, > > > > I tried now for several times to send an E-mail to the aquatic-plants > mailing > > list.
