We just don't worry about it when the weather freezes.  As was noted, they
resume reproduction after the last frost.  Kathy and I trade with Dave
Sanford (also on this last).  Sometimes we do clean out the pool and
restart the culture when it gets particularly nasty and overrun with
mosquito larvae.
